Let Your Backbones slide is the bomb! I grew up in Scarborough were Maestro's from and man, this track was everywhere in '89. They still play it at clubs in Toronto and when they do the crowd always gets hype.
Michee Mee's another one who was huge back then, she was in BDP early on. "Jamacan Funk(Canadian Style)" is extremely ill. Both these joints really capture the era. Peace.
Although I gotta say certs wid out the retsyn is one of the cheesier ones. Not the best representation.
